Patricia Fulton devotes her practice to defending people accused of crimes.  A graduate of the University of Washington School of Law, Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College, and recognized as a “rising star” by Washington Law and Politics, Patricia has earned a reputation as an articulate, thoughtful, and passionate advocate.  In addition to memberships in multiple legal organizations including the Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice, Patricia works to improve our laws by volunteering with the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ legislative committee.  Patricia also serves on the Board of Directors for the Citizens for Judicial Excellence and has worked to improve the quality of judges who preside over criminal cases.  Patricia has received a 10 out of 10 and "Superb" rating by Avvo.com.

  • Not Guilty verdict in case where client was accused of assault during a confrontation with an individual who was likely to pursue a civil case against client. State of Washington v. R.J.
  • Dismissal of Assault and Harassment charges in case where client was accused of domestic violence by wife with political connections who was aggressively pursuing prosecution. City of Duvall v. J.P.
  • Dismissal of 4th offense DUI due to officer misconduct. City of Milton v. J.C.
  • Dismissal of DUI with a breath test of .21 on defense motion for a constitutional violation due to a lengthy pre-accusatorial delay and the destruction of evidence. Win of Department of Licensing hearing on same case for lack of probable cause to stop. State of Washington v. R.B.
  • Dismissal of DV assault charges on defense motion during trial due to prosecutor’s inability to proceed. City of Seattle v. C.D.
  • Prevented license suspension and Commercial Driver’s License Disqualification in case where client had prior DUI history and a .20 BAC with a negotiation reduction to a non-DUI charge and a win at the Department of Licensing hearing. City of Everett v. R. M.
  • Dismissal of Physical Control charges due to prosecutor’s inability to proceed after successful defense motions to suppress evidence. State of Washington v. M.D.
  • Not guilty verdict where client was alleged to have swerved her car into oncoming lanes of travel, performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and blew .15 on the breath test. State of Washington v. T.M.
  • Not guilty verdict where client was stopped for speeding, alleged to have stumbled and fallen over during the field sobriety tests and blew .20 on the breath test. City of Redmond v. B.T.
  • Reversal on appeal of the drivers license suspension based on the application of the “safely off the roadway” defense. Department of Licensing v. M.D.
  • Not guilty verdict when client’s Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, not intoxication, caused the behavior the officer contributed to alcohol intoxication. State of Washington v. S.P.
  • Hung jury in 2nd offense DUI where client was alleged to have driven his truck off the shoulder of the roadway -- charges later reduced to Negligent Driving in the First Degree. City of North Bend v. M.T
  • Not guilty verdict where police report states client was driving at excessive speeds and weaving in and out of freeway traffic. State of Washington v. R.S.
  • Not guilty verdict where client was alleged to have refused the breath test and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. State of Washington v. M.A.
